Nein Again music for Episode 29: The Stalking Nightmare under the cut!
We get some old school C1 music for the early part of the episode, but I wasn't able to track them all down.
Silver for Monsters... from Witcher III begins at about 45:50.
At 1:27:25, The Path of A Kingslayer from Witcher 2 plays at the start of Nott's turn.
Next is Tooth and Claw from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as Caleb takes his turn.
Commanding the Fury plays at 1:34:10 while Matt describes the trap Nott discovered.
Death or Sovngarde follows as Frumpkin gets poofed.
The next several songs are all from the same general set for Witcher III, usually playing for Wild Hunt battles. The Hunt is Coming begins at about 2:23:30, when Nott attacks Protto.
Welcome, Imlerith plays at the end of Caduceus's turn at 2:35:10.
At about 2:43:30, On Thin Ice plays during Beau's turn. It has a very dramatic chorus.
Next is Tedd Deireadh, the Final Age, an unreleased track.
On Thin Ice replays at about 3:04:30 when Lorenzo avoids Beau.
The Wild Hunt from Witcher 2 plays as Matt describes Caleb's HDYWTDT on Lorenzo. It's the heavy metal with the flute.
That's all for this week. :)
Nein Again Episode 29 - "The Stalking Nightmare"
(37) I'm pretty sure Beau back-handing Nott here is direct pay back for Nott shooting her earlier
(1:30) I love that Keg just accepts that Caleb is in charge. I personally love when Caleb is in charge, but accept that under no circumstances does Caleb actually want to be in charge
(2:06) Keg: "Are you as good at impression as you are a detective?" Oof keg is throwing shade (and is so right). Also love that Nott completely ignores it
(2:07) Thank you Khary for explaining the Rich Little joke. I assume its mostly cause its a live show but there have definitely been times when I wish they would explain what strange dated reference they're making
(2:07) Nott's little smooch is so cute
(2:10) of course work shopping your insults is a vital part of the plan
(2:11) the belated "language" from Cad is so funny. None of the other swears matter, but for some reason this specific "fuck" is an issue
(2:14) I'm having flash backs (flash forwards?) to the Hells pretending to film porn. They truly do create situations
(2:40) what's with all the twelves??
(3:12) Caleb's internal monologue is such a mood
(3:48) This is one of the moments that makes me really love Caduceus. "People aren't good. That's not how this works. I mean, things that you do are good or bad, but people are just people." Not only is it a really great line, but also its such a necessary perspective for this group, especially right now
Wildmount music my beloved <3
I’m gonna be out of town for a bit so I jumped slightly ahead in Nein Again to wrap up the Iron Shepherds arc before then, and the little exchange in The Stalking Nightmare where Nott catches an invisible Caleb with a little kiss out of nowhere is just so cute. In the middle of all the combat and violence, it’s such a sweet, funny moment, I love the little kisses and loving gestures these two ambush each other with every now and again.
