As much as Sterling's life had completely changed over the last several years-- even the last few months, she always knew there would be one constant she could count on. Lacey. They became friends in high school and they'd been thick and thieves since. Lacey was one of the few people who stuck around throughout Sterling's pregnancy with Sunny, and she helped Sterling when she was struggling with depression She had always been there, even before Liza and Sterling had become as close as they are now. To have someone Lacey in her life meant so much to her.

The two always tried to spend what time they could together, so when their plans worked out to meet for coffee, they did just that. "How's life? Hopefully not as crazy as mine has been lately." Sterling joked, laughing softly as she thought about how glad she was that things were starting to calm down.

the years that had clouded the space between the last time she even surrounded herself with these same people - had not been kind to her. a multitude of failed relationships littered her past. but, the truth was that she never really seemed to capture the magic of her dumb high school boyfriend. which, in retrospect - sounded fucking ridiculous. but, it was what had managed to get her hear. now. walking into the gym of her old high school years after graduation. scribbling her name on a little name tag, she slapped it to her chest and filtered into the door. immediately, she's approached, and while maintaining moderate conversation and small talk, her eyes were lifting and scanning the room - desperate for one person and one person alone.

Spencer’s left knee bounced up and down as he stared down at the tiny screen held in his hand, just a few more minutes until his appointment.  A part of him thought about dashing, but he promised the mother of his children that he would at least try and seek help.  If not for him, for the children they shared together.

Once the door open, Spencer used the arms on the chair to ease himself up. A sigh left his lips as he walked forward towards the woman.  “I’m Spencer,” he said softly as they entered the office.  Once settled down, he looked over towards her.  “I really don’t know what this is all about,” he stated honestly. Yes, he knew what therapy was but he didn’t know how to go about things.

It felt like an eternity since she’d last been to the beach, the sand already sticking to every surface it could reach, and the sun threatening to burn her pale skin upon impact. But she was happy, relaxed in every sense of the world as she settled her backside against the blanket she had laid down, finding the texture of the towel she’d brought to be a displeasing sensation against bare skin. Off in the distance somewhere, out of her line of sight, her fiance was enjoying himself, probably attempting to participate in activities he’d been otherwise limited to as of late, and leaving Ezra to sit with @laceysinclaire​ for a while. The two had bonded almost immediately, and the other blonde was one of the only people that Ezra truly felt comfortable around.

“When I was little, I convinced myself I was a mermaid,” she blurted playfully, tips of small fingers fiddling with the pages of the book in her lap. “Trained myself to hold my breath forever and made my mom time me while I was in the bath. My dad nicknamed me Flounder, and I had to constantly remind him that I was absolutely Ariel, and that just made him insist upon the other one.” She smiled at the fond memory, hazel eyes looking to Lacey. “Do you ever miss being a kid?”

Just as things were starting to settle down in Cassidy’s life and the strides he was making in improving himself, his brother and him got into a fight and his life has been a whirlwind ever since.  The only constant at the moment happened to his meetings and doctor’s appointments, including his psychiatric help with Lacey.  It was after hours when he entered the building, the two agreed to do a small session.  Something he truly needed since he was going crazy with the fact his brother was behind bars.  To the point, he has not been sleeping, not been eating and started biting his nails once again.

Once he reached her office, he knocked on the door before slowly opening it.  When he saw the woman, he forced a smile though it was clear he was on edge.  “Thanks for seeing me Lacey,” he quietly said as he walked further into the room.  A part of him felt wrong even coming by, especially when his family needed him to step up.  There were other things he could be doing right now instead of spilling his life problems to a friend.  As he got closer and settled down into one of the chairs, his blue eyes glanced over towards the witch.  “How are you?” @laceyyu​

Life recently had been rather rough on the Malachai.  All throughout the warlock’s life, things constantly fell in place for him.  A huge reason, he rarely learned from his mistakes.  However, his charming personality was unable to save his apartment as it has done in the past.  After a few weeks of living in his car he managed to snag a job at a local gay club as a bartender.  Now the only step was to find a place to stay.  Sadly, he hardly had the credentials to get a place on his own at the moment nor did he have the money for a deposit, which led him towards the ads for a roommate. The search was daunting, none of the candidates felt right.  At least until he came across Marcus Darring.  After a phone call, the two agreed to meet in person.

Malachai knocked on the door, fairly confident in himself as he waited for the man to answer.  After all, things may have not been going his way for a few weeks.  But things were about to change, Kai could feel it in his bones. Once the door opened he smiled towards the man.  “Hey man, I’m Kai.  We spoke on the phone earlier.  Do you mind if I come in and check the place out?” @marcus-darring​
