Wanda yawned into her hand as she padded into the compound kitchen, determined to make herself a cup of tea as quietly as possible. She stopped when she saw Steve was already in the kitchen. "Good morning." She greeted as she ran her fingers through her unwashed hair. "Who's the present for?" She asked when she spotted the wrapped gift next to his cup of coffee, wondering if Steve was going to see a friend or whether she had missed one of her teammates' birthday.

there was a reason why tony had asked for steve to stay after the debrief was over. mainly because he needed to tell him how good that ass looked in that suit. also because he wanted to see it out of it. “that really is america's ass.” the ceo whispered while placing kisses on the other hero's back, trailing them down slowly. he moved his left hand down to the blond's thigh, massaging the thick muscle there too. “what do you think, are you finally ready?” he had been teasing steve's hole for a while now and with his right hand, had the tip of his shaft pressed up against his entrance. “or do you want me to do that thing with my fingers again?”

Peggy was by the bar, sipping her drink, when she heard Steve’s voice. She snorted and reached out with one of her hands to take one of his. “Love, that’s one of the most normal thing I’ve seen tonight. Ever since they brought out the alcohol.” She leaned up to kiss him, a teasing smirk on his face when she pulled back  “How you doing? Has our 1940′s captain seen too much yet?”

“You don’t have to do anything, Steve,” Tony said, voice uncharacteristically soft, as he crossed over to sit across from him. The rest of the Avengers who’d accompanied them on the mission were scattered around, leaving them alone in the quinjet’s cabin. “You’re taking too much responsibility for Bucky’s situation. You can’t keep putting this on yourself.”

Loki got off the quinjet, sandwiched in between Thor and Clint. He had no idea what either of them were saying to him, or each other, anymore because he was pretty sure he’d completely tuned them out about an hour ago. But when he saw who was waiting for them, more obviously him, he felt like throwing himself right back on it. “You need something, Rogers?”

He tries his best to smile, but he's all too aware that the result is probably rather hideous given he's got one eye swollen near shut, covered in cuts and bruises, not to mention he's still wearing this goddamn sailor uniform. Still, the water is appreciated after all the shit that's just gone down. If you'd told him at the start of the summer he'd be facing down the goddamn commies...well, it wasn't how he'd imagined things, that was for sure.
