1. He hails from Saffron City, Kanto.
That’s right - Chiré’s newest bad boy is a stranger to the region. He grew up in Saffron, where both parents worked at Silph Co. Neighbours describe the Fitzgerald family “withdrawn”. The family is shrouded in mystery, as many people believe that the Fitzgeralds were close “business associates” of Rocket Boss Giovanni.
2. Declan Fitzgerald: wunderkind extraordinaire.
Don’t let his steely looks fool you, because Declan is actually very bright. Graduating high school at the age of 16, Declan rose to prominence in the Silph Co., working on developing products like the Master Ball. Fun fact: he was the youngest scientist to ever work for the company. Talk about brains and brawn.
3. Favourite Pokemon type: dark (duh)
It’s no surprise that the tall, dark and handsome Declan favours equally dark Pokemon. When we asked him, he said his favourite Pokemon was “mega houndoom” #fierce
4. He’s a total party animal.
Friends say Declan loves a good rager, and that he’s always down to party. Recent pics show Declan leaving a seedy Titâni club in the early hours of the morning, arm-in-arm with a certain pair of Méta City sisters (hint: it was sisters Ryleigh and Reanna Jensen).
5. Declan “Short Fuse” Fitzgerald
It’s no secret that Declan has a temper. Most recently, he was thrown out of a club for allegedly “throwing a bar stool” after an argument with a bouncer - yikes!
The staff of Buzzfeed Chiré agree that Declan is a total babe in a leather jacket. We’ll be closely following his escapades in the region, and determine if the rumours that he’s taken up a job as a Hunter are true. •
