“So...” Roxas drew out the word, not sure what to say to break the silence. He was alone with Isa on the station tower, and it made him feel awkward; he’d never really gotten along with Saïx, and while he was sure things were different now that he’d been recompleted, they had to start somewhere. “Did you used to hang out here, too? With Lea, I mean.”
The name took some getting used to, since for the longest time he’d referred to the other as Axel. However, that wasn’t actually his name, and Roxas could see he was different, too, from the lack of marks under his eyes. Isa had a similar difference; the once-golden hues had turned to green, as they were originally, Roxas supposed. The effects of Xehanort’s possession were gone. “Must feel good to be all you again. I know I’m glad to be me.” If there was one thing he could relate to, it was that. He was fortunate that Sora had room in his heart to allow him to keep existing. Saïx wouldn’t have been the same, but... perhaps that was for the better.
“It might be overwhelming to hang out with everyone, but you’re always welcome to,” Roxas decided, finally. “I mean, coming back here, I didn’t think I’d be able to share these sunsets with all my friends. Didn’t even think Hayner and the gang would want to, but...” He grinned to himself. He was happier than he could describe, really; they acted like they always had, according to his false memories, and never missed a beat when Roxas brought something up that never actually happened. They even welcomed Lea, Xion, and Isa, without really knowing anything about them. “It’s fun, right?”
