Willow: Obviously loves her kids. Still neglectful, even if it's because she was very depressed and alcoholic. Also an abuse victim though.
Taiyang: Obviously loves both Yang and Ruby, and the girls love him back. He still emotionally neglected them for a while when he was very depressed after Summer's death, even if it was shown he did get better. That caused Yang to feel pretty lonely and be a parentified sister.
Kali and Ghira: Usually seen as model parents, these two let their daughter join a group that they considered dangerous and didn't even go after her and try to bring her back. "But they wanted her to find the right path by herself and she did!" Blake was 13 when she rejoined the White Fang. Allowing your preteen daughter to be in a terrorist group is. Fucked up even if you want her to "find the right path". There's a difference between being too controlling like Jacques and giving your kid too much freedom. If those two had been better parents, they would've gone after her, brought her back or stayed with her, which would've prevented Blake from being fucking groomed and abused by an older guy. "Find her the right path" the only right path a 13yo girl has to find is the one that takes her to middle school.
Summer: ... actually a pretty loving mom to both Ruby and Yang, who's the one who actually remembers her. She just happened to go on a mission and die. All of Ruby's mommy issues that come after are unintentional. Technically she was the best parent out of all of these.
