Alex had been working way too much and needed some fun. He just wanted to drink and hang out with someone that will not ask questions or worry too much about his drinking for the night. So he had decided to call his good friend Jill and ask him to go drinking.
Alex looked at his phone checking his email one last time before turning it off for the night and putting it away. “Took you long enough” he said with a smile

It had been a long day, Alex could not wait to go home and drink himself to sleep. He had been in meeting all day since the company was expanding and opening up a new small branch in Europe and he being the next CEO he had to be involved in every step.
Alex had also been looking over resumes and interviewing people for The Dragon’s Keep and also working on advertising for his Bar and Restaurant. When Alex got home he noticed that his door was already open and that there was song coming from the inside. Before this used to worry him but now not so much because he knew that Jill was over. Jill always had a way of showing up without knowing and picking his locks before Alex gave him a key.
Alex walked in to find his best friend cooking, “what are you making this time?” he asked putting his backpack on the floor and leaning against the wall, “wow, you did not make that much of a mess this time” he added with a grin.

Then...Never mind if he can't be here, right? It's just us girls and we're going to have fun, okay? We don't need anyone else and that's what best friends are for, right?
