[Event: “Kelas”]
The crisp evening air was still as Sandalphon tilted back his head, letting the last of the sunset’s radiant warmth swathe him in orange light, the glare playing off the curls of his hair as he sat along one of the many marbled clay rooftops within the heart of the Archimede’s Ward. The people there were gathered for yet another series of festivities to celebrate the indigenous eulogy of their beliefs, and, of course, such a cultural phenomenon would attract many a tourist and stranger alike, that including the painfully curious liege that Sandalphon had been shadowing for the past few weeks.
You certainly are more reckless than I ever could have assumed, Lucifer-sama...
The ever-watching angel thought to himself as his tired scarlet hues watched as the other stood amongst a smaller crowd of mortals, listening to an orchestral band of musicians singing along to an somber tune. This was fine, however, as long as Lucifer was within a safe environment, Sandalphon wouldn’t interfere with his revelry...
“Hey, you! Mister!” “Are you just gonna sit there? Don’t you know the dance?”
The call of two smaller voices then caught his attention, averting his gaze to see a pair of children challenging him so bravely from the paved streets directly below him. Such exuding confidence... he couldn’t help but entertain them as a result.
“I do not,” he answered them with a bemused tone. “I’m just an observer, taking in the atmosphere.”
Hopping down and landing on his heels with practiced ease, the pair of small mortals were slightly impressed, clapping for him as their big eyes shined in admiration.
“Ohh cool!” “Hey, if you don’t know the dance, then let’s show you how to do it! “Yeah, Mister, watch us!”
“Very well. Prove to me your skills then.”
Step-by-step, the children moved their bodies and limbs accordingly to the beat, which was now energized by the band’s accompaniment of their appropriate claps and a small stringed instrument being plucked by hand. The pair lifted their arms and twirled and swayed to the music, Sandalphon almost admitting he was impressed if not for the fact that he was holding his stoic persona in front of them.
