Their True Feelings
Two weeks after waking up, the doctors had decided that Iori was fit to be discharged. And so he had been, with much celebration from everyone else. Within a few days, Iori was back to his normal routine...albeit a rather low-key version of it. He had already briefed Tsumugi about it--all there was left was Riku.
“The doctors had informed me not to perform for another week or so, and even then, to take it easy afterwards so that I don’t tear the stitches. The wound was extensive, and they would like to ensure that there are no complications...”
“Please forgive me for inconveniencing you, Nanase-san, but you will have to perform on your own for a while... ...Nanase-san? Are you listening?”

EMPLOYEES ONLY had been written on the sign of the door, but Yamato ignored that momentarily, since he’s a man on a mission. Purposely he made his steps louder, to show that he was there, since he wants to make it a surprise but also not place too much stress on Riku that he goes into a fit... It’d be the worst.
Thankfully, IDOLiSH7′s center wasn’t hard to locate, with Yamato coming up from behind him, exclaiming “Riku!” before placing his arms on the younger’s shoulders. “How you’ve been? I’ve been looking for all of you for what felt like ages.”

Hot...
It was hot, and it was cold. Ten had realized early on in the day that he was sick again, but with too little time to cancel plans and call in, he rode it out, hoping it was just an episode, or yet another bout of stress-related ailments.
But it wasn’t, and it got worse as the days went on, and Ten could only helplessly lament that this was one of his busier days, with many performances and appearances. No one caught on yet, though--and that was good. But as the day ended, Ten felt his strength abandoning him more and more, and he was relieved when his final job of the day finally came to an end. Ten slipped backstage and sat down, pulling his jacket around himself as he prepared to make a sector-wide trip to Riku’s workplace...
Only to see Riku bounding backstage as well.
“Riku. You’re here early. I thought I told you to wait for me to pick you up.”

More reputable businesses have fallen for less. It was already enough of a risk having kids sign contracts at all, but to have one injured while expressly working for him, twice... no, enough of that. Is business really what he’s worried about?! This is Hive City: a world where anything goes. His worry lies in the horrors the young idols have had to deal with, reflected back to him in all the (too few) glances and words he’s exchanged with them since the incident.
No one blames him. The one to blame is dead, left to rot in the street until some unfortunate soul stumbles over them. But killing the culprit didn’t heal the damage that was done. Violence has always been a part of Bansai’s life. He should have been the one to suffer it this time too, to shield them all from it. Should that not be part of his job...?
He’s made all the calls he had to, and to channel his frustration as non-destructively as possible he’s now engrossed in writing a new song, a guitar across his lap barely touched as he jots down notes, sounding them out in his head only to scribble them out immediately.
A sound at the door catches his attention. Not the knock, but the approach: a song more subdued than what he is used to hearing, but recognizable nonetheless.
“Come in, Nanase-san.” He speaks out before the idol has even finished knocking.
Target in sight: Momo pounces.
“Rikuuuu!!”
He threw his arms around the younger idol jovially and held on tightly.
“You’re here! You’re really here! How’s my cutest kouhai doing?!”
Oops
With the successful arrest of the loan shark, Tasuku knew he had one more thing to do. After parting ways with Horikawa, Tasuku and Jack flew to the residential area of Sector oo3. Fifteen minutes later, he was at the door of a certain idol’s apartment and knocking on the door.
“Nanase-san! Sorry for dropping in unannounced; it just felt right to tell you in person. I wanted to let you know that you won’t have to worry about the loan shark anymore. We’ve dealt with him and he’s been taken into custody.”
Heartbreaking resolution.

One incident after another of running into Riku resulted in Ryuu turning tail yet again and fleeing. Not just because of what happened between them in the privacy of the corner of Battler’s mansion, but because of the feelings it brewed within him. Things he couldn’t stand feeling. Things he knew were wrong to feel. He could never ever say anything, to anyone, or act on them. Riku was a good boy, he could never ruin both of their careers and it was also that... he wasn’t the right one for him. He knew if he brought it up, things that people would frown upon would result. He was just that pure and innocent, good at heart.
However, he couldn’t face him right now. He felt shame and couldn’t look him in the eyes. It didn’t help that for the umpteenth time they were crossing paths on his way out of Spider Bite’s Bakery; although instead of running, he ducked his head down and tried to rush past him with a brisk, hasty walk.
It made matters worse when he heard his name being called almost immediately, and he sounded completely fed up.
I’m sorry, Riku-kun. Not right now.
Would he ever be ready to deal with it?
