France bans all pro-Palestinian demonstrations

The move comes as European governments fear a rise in antisemitism triggered by the Israel-Hamas war.

While France may be willing to hold powerful politicians accountable, it is also known for draconian suppression of protests. (The Yellow Vests protests had more protester deaths than the protests around the same time in the PRC!)

Of course, as we are seeing in Africa, France still has a legacy as a colonial power.

As those familiar with history know, France is known for brutal suppression of protests. (The Yellow Vests protests had more deaths than ones around that time in the PRC!)

And, as we are seeing in Africa, France has a colonial legacy it wants to hang onto.

One hopes the people ignore this.

Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp go down

Facebook's week just went from bad to worse.

I first heard about this from someone at the drive through window. I think he may have been a Qanon type, mentioning about Facebook being targeted for various things, but just seeing them down is kind of a good thing, especially after the recent revelations.

And if Facebook goes down for good, I would be as happy or happier than if the default happened. (It would mean my mom would have to find a different way to try and spy on me.)
