Hey MCU fans if you feel like suffering, I 100% recommend rewatching season 1 of Agents of SHIELD.

The foreshadowing and horrific moments that lead up to HYDRA emerging are truly one of a kind. Bonus points if you’ve seen it before and KNOW who is HYDRA. Double bonus points if you remember watching it when it aired and remember how world-ending it was to watch Bucky Barnes fight Steve Rogers on the big screen and then a few days later see **redacted** shoot SHIELD agents because he has secretly been HYDRA.

i wanna hear your thoughts on this because this idea won’t leave my head:

Since watching Thunderbolts*, I have been back on my Bucky Barnes simp stuff. The kicker? I was on my Soldier Boy/Ben stuff before hand.

So I wanna know…how do you think he would react to his *competition*? (If you could call it that.)

My thoughts are like this: He loves the attention, but won’t admit it, but definitely pouts the second he doesn’t get it. Shoot deadly glares and being all icy towards the other super soldier. Just absolutely being a baby about it also.

But what do you think?

Hi there! Full disclosure, I haven't seen Thunderbolts, but Bucky Barnes used to be one of my fixations when CA: TWS first came out lol.

But do you mean how would Soldier Boy/Ben react to meeting Bucky Barnes? I think you kind of said it, in that I don't think Soldier Boy would be much fazed by him lol. At least at first.

He'd probably take him more seriously than Homelander, considering Bucky doesn't frill himself up with a cape or a flashy costume. (AKA: all that "pussy gear.")

SB might even be begrudgingly curious about the metal arm. 😂 But until Bucky proved he could actually keep SB on his toes in a fight (like the iconic grabbing of the shield lol), he wouldn't take Bucky very seriously. After that though, SB would probably still pretend to be unfazed, with his usual macho man flair (even if he is VERY annoyed deep down). 😅
