Hold on, you’re telling me the last two episodes of this season of Tracker are about two brothers (one played by Jensen Ackles) trying to determine the mysterious circumstances of their parent’s death and it all comes back to…kids who might be psychic
but they can't Destiel us, there's no one in the ensemble yet (unless you count Randy but he showed up too early for the parallel to parallel at that level) Colter could be shipped with to that level that's a guy who isn't his brother and I thought the way they handled the psychic kid shit was more X-Files (especially given how much once that was in play proper the outdoor lighting just...wasn't (X-Files is a bit notorious for poorly lit nighttime outdoors even more so than Tracker))
I mean, I was specifically referring to season 2 of Supernatural so pre-Castiel haha. Like when Sam thinks he’s psychic and it turns out he’s Azazel’s pet project. There’s a whole season of Supernatural about them finding psychics like Sam and dealing with the morality of helping them or killing them.
I guess I just didn't want people to think this was going to be some kind of copy-paste letdown like how people thought Kara and Lena on Supergirl getting together would mean Lena would die because of their similarities to Clarke and Lexa on The 100
Nah this is more of a jokey jokey post because they completely changed the book storyline, which I thought was quite good. And the storyline they changed it to involved psychics which is definitely a CHOICE when Jensen is involved. The writers/producers have not been subtle about their Supernatural references. They made Russell super Dean-coded, and he was not like that in the books. Just think it’s funny they keep changing things to be more like Supernatural lol

One of the root problems of our society is a refusal or inability by media to articulate that all those “it’s gonna be an apocalypse” disasters were not disasters because we collectively did something about them.
The good news is this is actually quite correctable. I maintain my firm belief that we as humans are capable of solving almost all of our problems, when we decide to do so.
And I still think that’s going to happen. I don’t know when or how, but I do know that abandoning hope won’t help bring it about.
And I refuse to let the cynics own a chunk of my heart.
