#BlackHistoryMonth day 14: Ida B. Wells (1862-1931) was an investigating journalist, educator and early leader of the Civil Rights Movement. She was a cofounder of the NAACP. She was also one of the first Black woman to be “invited” to the Suffragette’s march (equivalent of the women’s march today). I’ve heard about that last fact at the #CAA2017 conference today.
