The children of Cabin four seem to glow; literally and/or figuratively, they're a welcoming sort. Many feel at ease around them, since they're always inclusive, and hate when others are on their own. They are the kind of people one can rely on. Always.

Cabin Four is alive.🌻🌿🌼
Literally. Its vines grow and shift with the moods of its inhabitants. The stone is covered in creeping ivy, sunflowers twist toward the roof, and herbs grow along the windowsills like offerings.
Inside smells like soil after rain, wild honey, and crushed mint. There’s no need for artificial lights; the cabin glows with golden natural sunlight, even at dusk. Moss creeps over furniture. A kitten might curl up on your pillow.
No one enters with anger in their heart and leaves the same.

𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒑𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: They can grow plants with a thought; flowers, vines, crops, etc. The older and more emotionally attuned the child, the wilder and more beautiful the growth.
𝑭𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍: Their presence can make barren soil flourish. In moments of distress, nearby plants might wither or burst with fruit. They’re especially powerful during equinoxes and harvest festivals.
𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆: They instinctively know what each herb is for; whether for healing, sedating, cursing, or restoring memory. Their salves and teas work faster than most mortal medicine.
𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒚: They can feel when something’s wrong with the land; blight, corruption, even underground movement. Sometimes, they can even speak to the land in dreams.
𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑫𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄: Thorns, vines, strangling roots. Peaceful as they may be, don’t cross them. Their magic can become brutal when protecting the ones they love.
The offspring of Demeter have proven themselves to be ... caretakers with thorns. They are natural nurturers, but they’re not soft in the way people think. They are fierce about protection, devoted to those they love, and unafraid to destroy whatever threatens their peace.

Even when they don’t try to be. Something about them makes people feel seen, safe, and invited. But if they’re overwhelmed or betrayed? The silence that follows is like winter.
