Ooh story time! So tosh we went to the water park. I was innocently standing in line for a slide, two girls in front of me were talking about Nova Scotia (my home province) ((we're in an island now)) saying how it's stupid that we're called "Bluenoses" (The Bluenose was a ship that crashed not too far from NS) and how it's just a generally stupid place, the most boring place in Canada. Now I might be biased there but this part is bullshit. While we were near the front of the line they were looking over the edge down the stairs. They started talking about how suicidal people could just go there and jump off whenever they felt like it. That broke me I stared at them straight in the eye and said this: "First of all, stop dissing Scotians. Second of all, that suicide comment really offended me so why don't you just shut your fucking mouths." And then they started laughing at me saying "What? Are YOU suicidal? Why don't you just jump and prove it?" Let me just say this was the first time we've ever interacted. They are maybe two or three years older than me too. Islanders are dicks.
It is currently 12:14 am and I just realized how vulnerable we are to any potential robbers/murderers/rapist. You could literally take some wire cutters and cut through the "window" on the front door. Not to mention the small space we're all in and the lack of a proper second exit is terrifying. Also, I'm kinda paranoid about ghosts? Like cabin in the woods? Jesus.
((I have a feeling Anna and Woodie's cabin will become the place to be during blizzards. All those faces huddled around the fireplace while woodie passes around the moonshine hot toddys and anna leads everyone in songs 8'> ))
