The whole "everything is flat and thin" UI design trend is bad enough, but y'know what just makes it worse?
The lack of consistency.
That's the Windows 10 Settings application, the Windows 10 "Open File" common dialog, and GitHub Desktop.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss when buttons looked like this across the board, and those that didn't were the outliers. Now your application is the outlier precisely when it does use the OS-native buttons.
Don't get me wrong: the exact same thing applies to all the other controls.

Blame! (2017)
UI practice, gave the character creator of "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines" a shot. Expanded to have more customization options in addition to a more updated look that still leans on and reuses the original design elements.

The alternative / true forms
And a little glow used to highlight who's taking the spotlight!
Currently working on a module pack / custom module that has discord integration to highlight / animate players that are talking. I also wanted to try make a dynamic health bar like they did for the wizard game, if anyone has any suggestions on where to look it would be greatly appreciated! :)
Also trying to add a small floor plan to provide a bit of clarity for combat encounters :D
All of this was done in Foundry vtt v13. Art provided by @messy-kobalt inspired by @alfabusa and his team!
