It's March, and yep, that means a new Knit-Along! This month, the Statement Cable Scarf is the Knit-Along pattern - and if you don't have the pattern, don't worry, it's 50% off until the end of March! This bulky-weight knit scarf is perfect to keep the March rains and chill away, plus, it only uses two skeins of bulky yarn, so it knits up quick!
Don't worry, if you don't have the pattern, it's 50% off through the month of March during the Knit-Along!
Plus, if you finish a scarf by the end of March, (don't worry, WIP's accepted, though it does knit up fast, I promise!) you have the chance to win a Gift Card from KnitPicks or, new this month, a $30 CAD Gift Card from The Knitting Loft! This new choice is due to the Canada/US tariff situation; when I contact the winner, I'll ask them which shop they would prefer.
If you're outside Canada or the US, sadly, I can't do gift certificates, but, you can, instead win 4 patterns of your choice from my web shop.
Other cool stuff to know:
The stitch pattern is both charted and written.
The pattern has a large-print version for folks who need it (this version also works with screen-reading tech)
It comes in one size as written: 9 inches (23 cm), by 40 inches 105.5 cm, but is easily adjustable to whatever amount of yarn you have.
As written, the scarf uses 260 yards (238 meters) of aran weight or bulky yarn. This scarf uses almost exactly two skeins of the recommended Malabrigo Mecha (link is an affiliate link - I get a commission if you make a purchase, don't worry, there's no additional cost to you!)
The sample was knit in the gloriously squishy Malabrigo Mecha (Malabrigo Yarns was kind enough to support this pattern through the Malabrigo Quickies Program!)
If you're a Patron, you can download the pattern here
Anyway, you can find all the details about how to enter the Knit Along on the Pattern Page, and if you've got any questions, please, drop them on this post or in the Ask Box!
Good Luck, and Happy Knitting!
