I made this scarf tonight!
It was handwoven on a rigid heddle loom and took exactly one Star Trek movie and three Star Trek episodes to make :-)

"I know my scarf's better than him!"
Iceland. Let's spend our money!
We desperately needed sweaters. Because it was cold, of course (no). Anderii @anderiix and I know a little about this stuff. There was a lot to choose from. Are we in Iceland, or where? What if we bought every sweater in the world?
Is something missing? The very reason for coming here. Álafoss isn't just sweaters. Scarves like these are made only here.
Mission accomplished? No…

Cold...

Completed ruffle scarf, made using unicorn yarn & copenhagen mohair yarn from Hobbii. I’m really pleased with how much more snuggly this scarf is doubled over. I feel that the doubled layer accentuates the ruffly nature of this basic pattern & gives this lovely layering effect at the back of the neck when worn.
Pattern is the ‘Knit lace ruffle scarf’ by BeadedWird (etsy).
handwoven scarf 🧣✨ made on an Ashford rigid heddle loom from Jamieson's Shetland Marl Chunky yarn (in Highland Mist, Teviot and Bering Sea)

Do you by chance know who makes this scarf please?
Thank you
Unfortunately, I don't know. The jacket is Barbour, but most Barbour scarves are tartan, not houndstooth. If you search online for a green houndstooth wool scarf, you may find a similar one. If you would like brand recommendations in general, I have had very positive personal experience with both Barbour and Johnstons of Elgin scarves. I found a similar green scarf from Anderson and Shepard that I will link below.
Shop our wool and silk houndstooth scarf in dark green. Made in Italy, this soft scarf adds a classic houndstooth pattern to your collection
