Dallon's History
Dallon barely managed to escape the caves as a wriggler, and he was very quickly picked up by his original lusus, German Shepherd dad, shepherd dad for short. He helped him stay hidden, and help Dallon learn to keep it that way. He was far more chipper before he was blinded. He was very big on sight. He loved the way things looked, he loved color. He certainly had an amazing eye for aesthetic, and found beauty in anything.
He was blinded in a fight by an indigo troll - at seven sweeps - who gave him a harsh knock to the head, and was about to kill him when Shepherd dad came in. He managed to mortally wound the Indigo at the cost of his own life. With Dallon already passed out, he had no idea that Shepherd dad was dead, or that a new lusus was already watching out for him.
When he came to, he couldn't see anything, so he thought he was dead, until a seadweller named Araxie told him no, but he barely survived. She told him about how she found him, how he's blind now, and how his other lusus had helped her find him. This was too much information to take in, and he felt awkward knowing the falcon was in the room with them. He asked where Shepherd dad was, for comfort. He didn't get any when he found out that Shepherd was dead.
He went off. Throwing tantrums, and yelling. Araxie left his respiteblock, but not his hive. And the falcon stayed, which angered Dallon immensely. He'd either ignore the falcon, or throw things at him, screaming things like "I hate you. I don't want you. I want you gone!" but the falcon stayed. In his room with him for two weeks.
During that time, Dallon gained a more harsh, guarded attitude, but still remained somewhat respectful to higherbloods.
When Dallon finally left his room, Araxie was still there. They agreed he needed to learn to get around somehow, and the basic walking stick solved that for a while. Then falcondad tried to add on to the learning, but Dallon was loathe to let him. Then, once Dallon got past that barrier, he realized that falcon dad knew what he was doing, and Dallon quickly learned better ways to see.
After two months, Dallon finally accepted falcondad as his new lusus, and let him ride on his shoulder.
However, the care and lessons Araxie gave him aren't to be overlooked. She helped him learn how to cover up his blood color by using a different one - she shot lower, so he wouldn't get in as much trouble. She helped him come to terms with his emotions, and she was his first red quadrant.
That seadweller changed his look on many things. Also may have started this thing for seadwellers he has. Who knows?
So, that's the basic overview of Dallon's life story. Hope you enjoyed!
