Sparks Nevada + The Onion
One of my favourite things about the legend of Cactoid Jim: a lot of the feats attributed to Cactoid Jim are actually things that Sparks Nevada did before Jim was even on the scene. It’s so clear people were just telling stories of fantastic things that happened and went yep sounds like something Cactoid Jim would do and it’s incorporated into the legend of Cactoid Jim

I was not prepared AT ALL for Cactoid Jim to stride into season 2, episode 5 of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
I’m not sure why the Ballad of Cactoid Jim comes up on a search for the PBS “Do You Speak American?” documentary, but I approve.
Throwback to what’s probably the last election we could all believe in. We made a handful of these during Cactoid Jim’s successful run for Mayor in the “Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars” series.
