On Naturopathy Courses...
Okay, So I'm currently doing this Floristry course in this hut on top of a hill in a valley (I'm in New Zealand so I would expect nothing less...) and I'm also enrolled to do thid 6 month course next year aswell which will give me a certificate and a protfolio after it. Buuut I've been looking at Naturopathy courses and the sound sooooooo amazing, like all the stuff I'm interested in.
Basically they start you off with an overview of the course with the fundemental basics of Naturopathy such as "first do no harm" and "treat the cuase' and then it moves into anatomy of the human body, componants and how it all works together then they get into the biology of the plants, chemical compunds that make up certian aspects of the plants and how these can be used to help humans. Then it moves into learning about treatments and different methods of treatments and how it effect different parts of the body. Then you get into learning about aromatherapy and massage and other things like that.
So all of that complicated stuff is done either on campus for three years full time or over 5 years part time BUT the only city in MY ENTIRE COUNTRY is so far away from my home of wellington... it's in aukland... THE ONLY NATUROPATHY SCHOOL IS IN AUKLAND. I could do an online course but I don't know if it's right or if it's the same or anything. It's 500$ to do the online course but I don't know if it's recognised or if it's legit and I do want the whole experience of being on campus but I don't want to leave my Friends and Family for three years...
AND I already have a student loan and nothing has come from it, I don't have a piece of paper to say I did this and it cost me all this money. I don't want to turn around and have all this debt and nothing to show for it. I'm really really good at not finishing what I start. It's a really good skill of mine.
