I think you should see TSSF. I'm a 19-year-old girl and I went to their show by myself in March. If people actually say something rude to you just because you're a girl at the show, then they are assholes. There is nothing wrong with liking a band and going to support them. The Story So Far are one of my favorite bands to see live and you shouldn't miss it!

I don’t even know what to say.I was looking forward to seeing The Story So Far at Warped Tour this year but I unfortunately missed their set so their upcoming fall tour is my chance to finally see them live. And I agree with you, the people who judge girls because they like them and their music are assholes. We’re not all Parker fangirls, you know? I hate being lumped into that category. It’s frustrating.My biggest fear in going to the show are all the judgmental looks and comments I’m probably going to get. Although I’m nineteen I really don’t look my age (I’ve been told I look fifteen, sixteen at best) and the fact I’m only 4’9” doesn’t help my case at all. I have really bad anxiety and I’m sure the looks and comments are going to trigger it, and I feel like it’s just going to be too overwhelming. I know I shouldn’t care what others think and the only opinion that matters is my own, but I can’t help it. Sigh.I’ll most likely go if a friend tags along with me, though.Thanks again, by the way, it really means a lot to me for you to send a message like that.
