This is a re-upload of the solo version of "Breakthrough," another piano piece I wrote about my SWTOR Jedi, Cadel, and his romanced Theron. (Duet version is here)
This version is more calm and subdued, and meant to capture what happens after the traitor arc. It expresses Cadel and Theron reconnecting with each other and rebuilding their relationship.
This is a re-upload of "Breakthrough," a short piano piece I wrote about my SWTOR Jedi, Cadel Bryd, and his romanced Theron Shan.
It's a loud and busy duet piece, and my intention was to capture the feelings Cadel and Theron experience during the traitor arc. The emotions associated with their separation and reunion, expressed via music.
Theron: I'll spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you.
Cadel: That's nice, Theron, but I need to ask you something.
Theron: What is it?
Cadel: You remember when you left that message for us at that abandoned listening post?
Theron: Yeah?
Cadel: And you encrpyted it with a method that you and Lana developed years ago, on Rishi?
Theron: ...Yeah?
Cadel: And only you and Lana know how to decrypt it?
Theron: ...Y-Yeah.
Cadel: Well, why didn't you use that to tell us about your plan to infiltrate the Order?
Theron: ..............uh
he is a powerful force-healer, but his skill with a lightsaber is average at best
he’s also not the best starship pilot
on the outside, he has a mild-mannered and straightforward attitude
deep down, he is a child at heart – he is optimistic, playful, curious and a bit silly
he is also extremely sensitive and easily hurt, though he is very, very good at hiding this – he almost never cries, though when he’s been hurt, his gaze visibly stiffens and it becomes easy to see that he’s fighting back tears
he has a deep respect for lana despite that they don’t agree on everything – with his alliance siding with the republic, cadel worries about how this will affect his friendship with lana
he also loves theron, and after what happened on umbara, cadel entered a solemn emotional state as he worked tirelessly to get theron back – after nathema, the two of them went to bed, where cadel finally let out his emotions, collapsed into theron’s arms, and cried for hours
cadel is lighthearted and friendly, but because he’s so easily hurt, he stops at nothing to end conflicts and solve problems as soon as possible
