You know I'm kind of seeing a pattern here but I can't quite put my finger on what it is...
Disclaimer: I did read some datamined spoiler-y stuff beforehand, because I’m nosy bitch sucker for knowing what’s to come. More about that under the cut as well.
Ran the content with my LS jedi knight.
- Kira and Scourge! Just sayin'. Their bickering watered my crops, cleared my skin and made me at least six years younger. Bioware, we need more of these two, please!
- All the team battles gave me serotonin I've been lacking for ages.
- Revan showing up wasn't exactly a surprise, but oh well.
- Loved the mindscape aesthetics, but the narrow paths between falling into oblivion made me more nervous than they should have.
- I started humming "bad boys" when Tenebrae, Vitiate and Valkorion showed up.
- Why is there "put some more clothes on"-option with Tenebrae?!
- Tython mindscape gave me FEELS
- "Please don't punch me off this rock, I'll scream if you do." Me @ mobs
- Senya apologizing to Vaylin broke my heart.
- Tirall family fighting Valkorion. TIRALL FAMILY FIGHTING VALKORION.
- Darth Marr's "Avenge me" broke me. You're missed, sith dad.
- The ending. Oh lord, the ending.
The fight was so intense I didn't really have time to grasp what was going on like, 90% of the time, but I enjoyed every bit of it. I've always been a sucker for "people teaming up to beat the big evil"-trope, and boy did they deliver it.
That being said, this was probably the first time ever I actually regret reading spoilers. Because I believe it would have been 100% more emotional for me to play the content without knowing what was coming up. I'm not saying spoilers ruined the experience, because I didn't know the dialogue and such, but yeah.
My only thoughts right now are "holy smokes, I still have characters who romanced companions, I gotta see what happens with them." But right now I'm too tired to run the story again.
Oh, and I really do hope the Emperor stays dead. As essential as having an evil emperor is to Star Wars-universe, we could use something different for once. But this closure was nice touch. Could it have been better? Sure. Was it good for me? Yes.
Now please let my tired Knight retire, she's been fighting Emperor since 2012.
Satele: *telling the Outlander that the others have departured already*
Outlander: *starting to panic* "Wait how much time has past?!"
Satele: "That is not important."
Outlander: *getting slighty aggressiv* "Oh you think so?! Well I think it is of importance because if you recall I was frozen in carbonite for 5 years! And if I wake up and Lana is there ready to inject me with something because I've been out for to long then this is going to have consequences SATELE!"
-----------later------------
Outlander: *waking up*
Lana: *wanted to inject something into them* "I guess I don't need that then." *putting the syringe away*
Outlander: "Why are all the events feeling like a flashback..."
Lana: "Because with Valkorion involved everything repeats itself."
Outlander: "Well that's true."
Lana: "But hey see it that way: This time you've only been out for an hour!"
Oulander: "At least some improvements..."
Lana: "Anyway where shall we head to?"
Outlander: "Tython. I need to kick Satele nicely in the ass for saying that time is not important"
