So for this Whisky Wednesday I'm revisiting this nice cask strength small batch from Cadenhead🥃, I am pairing it with the classic Churchills💨 from RyJ and adding a little sweetener🍫 at the end 😉. Hey guys. How's it going? So it's Friday again, finally! 😄👌🏻 This time I have an interesting one for you. It's the Cadenhead Small Batch, this one is quite interesting, it's a single malt scotch whisky distilled at the Benriach-Glenlivet distillery and aged 10 years, it's also at 58.9 ABV, so it's quite strong, a real cask strength. I decided to pair it with a nice Bolivar stick, I turned out pretty nice 👌🏻🥃💨. . Some info on it: Distilled: 2008. Bottled: 2018. Age: 10 years. Strength: 58.9% slc/vol. Cask: 2 x Bourbon Hogheads. No. bottles: 564. . Here is my review:. Nose: It's quite fresh with light citrus notes and sweet wood and spice. . Palate: Oily, with old leather notes and hints of wood smoke and toffee biscuits. . Finish: Buttered gingerbread with green apples and toasted coconut. . I can say that this is an interesting scotch, but I can't say that it's a favorite. It certainly is not for everyone and at 58.9 ABV, it's best served with a drop of water 😉.
