Hey, I’m Cade, and I can write thousands of words with almost no effort, so I’ll try not to go too far here, (yes this is me holding back 😅).
Send me prompts if you want me to write a sexy scene! I sometimes write little scenes and you can find them by searching my blog for #cadeWrites, #cadeOC for all original content, or #cadeMe for all of that including the things I consider enough of a contribution from me to be tagged as such.
This blog is 18+ only, so minors DNI. If you don’t have your age in your bio, I will block you - it’s nothing personal, just for everyone’s safety. If you don’t want your age in your bio for your own safety, that is absolutely your prerogative, but I’ll utilize my right to block you in the interest of my own and my community’s safety.
Basics:
I’m a 34 year old writer, from Vancouver BC.
I’m Non-binary, and I use They/Them pronouns only, and prefer neutral and feminine words and compliments.
Diagnosed ADHD, possibly undiagnosed autism.
Hard stances:
Pro: Landback, ACAB, BLM.
Anti: TERF, SWERF, truscum, transmed, and transphobe in general; "map," gun, racist, capitalism, exclusionist.
(Though there are more complex things to be said about some of these.)
Hard stance that nobody ever talks about:
Gender, pronouns, name, and presentation are ALL MUTUALLY INCLUSIVE. Which means that one of these four things cannot ever preclude or be a qualifier for another. Any gender can use any pronoun, name, and present themself however they want, as long as they do so in good faith.
About Me:
I am bi/pan, (the distinction is inconsequential for me personally and I identify as both).
I’m demi-romantic and that kind of seeps into my sexuality a bit as well, though I don’t consider myself demi-sexual. However, I've been finding myself more aspec a bit lately, for the last year or so, but it could be a mental health thing. This stuff is complicated.
I got a vasectomy in 2021
I am strictly polyamorous, and I’m a polyamory advocate.
I currently have one partner, my nesting partner, and we have 2 cats, Zuko (9) and Iroh (3).
I’m an aspiring author, and I write Middle-Grade, Young Adult, and Adult novels. As such, I’m keeping these pages* separate from my author platform pages, for the safety of any young readers. I write stories that I wish I could have had. I focus on trans/non-binary main characters, as well as polyamorous and queer characters of all kinds, in speculative-fiction stories. Their identity informs their character, but the story isn't always about their identity - I like queer characters in stories that usually default to cishet white people as main characters. I usually write with horror and science-fantasy elements. My current project is a middle-grade horror series that I sometimes describe as “Stephen King’s IT for queer kids.”
*(“These pages” being the “Soft Polyam Enby Joyfriend” pages on: Twitter [which is mostly support for SWers and friends], Facebook [which can get a bit more personal], and Tumblr [this here, which is likely to be a mix of support for SWers and friends, and also personal stuff, some sexy writing, and general tumblr fun]).
If you want to know about my author pages you can message me and ask. I don’t have a ton ready and available to read, but I’d be happy to have you follow!
My goal is to be able to support and take care of all the people I care about. If I were to become a successful writer, I would be making sure everyone never had to worry. Additionally I’d probably fund various kickstarter/indigogo/gofundmes.
I’ve got a tech diploma and am working on a bachelor in creative writing, and will hopefully go on to a MFA in creative writing as well. If being a novelist can’t support me, I hope to teach creative writing in university.
I found out in 2022 that I have ADHD and got a diagnosis, and it changed my life.
I’m an avid reader, and have always tried to be, but ever since high school reading has been a huge struggle, and between graduating in 2006, and 2022, I read around 32 books. And several of those were in 2022 after being diagnosed with ADHD. In January and February of 2023, I’ve read 20 books. The diagnosis was truly life changing. I have a collection of *check’s spreadsheet* over 1200 books, and I’m finally getting through them. Not only that, I can tell that my writing is constantly improving because of my reading.
I’ve been a gamer my whole life, but these days it’s a challenge to tell myself it’s okay to go and sink some days into a game. I’ve recently been playing Minecraft for the first time in a decade... honestly it’s got a solid foundation, but just feels like they never made it interesting to me. I’m not that into it.
I am a hobbyist game developer and musician. I like making retro style games. My music is kinda like emo/pop-punk infused with chiptunes (which are basically the kind of music you’d have heard on 80s/90s game consoles like NES, SNES and Gameboy). My main focus is writing as it is both my career goal, and a hobby I love. As such, I haven't worked on any music since 2019 (oh my god), and game development is such an enormous task it’s really something I’ve had to consciously set aside, sadly. I hope that one day I have the money to actually spend time on all these things.
Emo music is my love. This current 5th wave of emo is fucking incredible. But I do love emo through all the waves from the mid-80’s to today.
I'm slowly getting into anime. There’s a lot.
I love film with all my heart. I watch a movie per day on average. Horror is my go-to. I love horror of all kinds, from silly and campy to the kind that fuck you up. I’m a nerd, so I track all the movies and TV I watch in a spreadsheet, and this graph tells me 37.2% of what I watch is horror, the next highest is Animated TV and movies at 12.8%. I’ve watched 895 things in the last 2 years and a bit, and 333 of them have been horror. (I admit, I usually call something horror even if it is just a little horror, and might be better suited as a different genre, lol).
My latest BDSM test results are as follows:
(and it feels very accurate now.)
100% Switch, Rigger, Master/Mistress, Non-monogamist, Sadist, Daddy/Mommy, (this is the only case in which I’m okay with a masculine term, as “Daddy” is more about a specific position of care in a relationship).
98% Owner, Voyeur, Exhibitionist
82% Rope bunny, Experimentalist
45% Submissive, Masochist
0% Primal (Prey), Pet, Boy/Girl, Degradee, Ageplayer
I don't actually have a lot of my own kinks, I prefer to accomodate my partners' kinks. Some I can say I do have are:
I like being a Soft Daddy (not ageplay though)
Consent is so fuckin hot. Communicate with me, baby.

MUSIC:
When it comes to music, I really only listen to full releases. I don’t really listen to one song from this band, one song from that band - I suppose it's a compulsion I've had for years. I will listen to albums start-to-finish. So, when I like music, it’s because I like an album all the way through - there are very few exceptions to this. So, when I list my “favorite current bands,” it’s because I’ve found at least one release that I love all the way through, maybe more, and I’m super into that right now. For the list of my Current Favorite Bands below, I can confirm I do enjoy all of their releases, with one exception: I have only listened to one album from Ceres.
Current Favorite Bands (links to Spotify):
(Bands I’m loving and may end up on my all-time list, or at least have some albums on my favorite albums list)
Arm’s Length - Never Again Seen, Never Before Found
Ceres - We Are a Team (this is the only band for which I haven’t moved past this album yet, so I dont know about their other releases)
awakebutstillinbed - what people call low self-esteem is really just seeing yourself the way that other people see you
Peregrine - the awful things we’ve done
Least - Folding My Hands, Accepting Defeat
Origami Angel - Somewhere City
Sweet Pill - Where the Heart Is
Some All-Time Favorite Bands:
(These bands usually have 3 or more releases that I adore, and I love most of their releases - for instance, I’m not inclined to say that Silverstein or Death Cab are some of my favorites, even though I love 3 of their albums, since they have 8 other studio albums that I’m not that into.)
Some All-Time Favorite Releases:
(which are by bands that don’t make my favorite bands list, because their discography didn’t grab me enough, or they don’t have enough releases, it’s mostly just this one album that I love.)
Dan Mangan - Nice Nice Very Nice (#1 favorite album of all time)
Bright Eyes - I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning
Saosin - self titled album
Time Spent Driving - Just Enough Bright
Underoath - They’re Only Chasing Safety
Worst Party Ever - here, online
This Day & Age - …Always Leave the Ground (no Spotify, so YouTube)
Swingset Champion - To Those Who Wait…

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
The Menzingers - After the Party
Maclean - Talker (They’re defunct now, and their spotify got mixed with another artist - this band only has 2 releases, the other is called “Hang This On your Wall”)
Hot Mulligan - You’ll Be Fine
The Get Up Kids - Something to Write Home About
Chinese Football - Continue?
CLIFFDIVER - At Your own Risk
Adventures - Supersonic Home
