I'm so happy to have found these, from the abandoned kidsofpomona MySpace page! The top images are of "Curtis, The Boy Who Could Fly", who was practically a celebrity within the So Cal Aquabats fandom in the mid-2000s. He and his dad would always come to shows dressed in full gear, and on several occasions, the Commander would bring him onstage and chuck him into the audience as per band tradition, thus how he got his nickname (given to him by the MCBC). The crowd would chant his name whenever he was brought up, Cadets would take pictures with him after the shows...he really sort of personified everything that was both awesomely accessible about The Aquabats and awesomely accommodating about the fanbase. After the whole debacle regarding kids on this last tour, I think we all need a little Curtis back in our lives (in spirit at least, since I haven't seen him in years). The other photos are from the same show at The Glass House in Pomona, CA on January 27, 2007 (w/ Supernova, Bad Credit and Fulton). At one point in the set, the MCBC was yammering on about how Aquabats shows are places for friends and that we were all now friends, etc. before joking that we should start a collective MySpace page for "The Kids of Pomona", which someone totally did (linked above, though now you can no longer see anything other than the above pictures).

The only prerequisite for joining CREATURE CORPS is that you're a monster or otherwise non-human creature of some kind. Hybrids, weres, aliens, and furries can fall into this category as well; you don't necessarily have to be big and/or scary to be in the corps.
