Today I received my beautiful card from @buffaluff, and I finished putting together the GORGEOUS puzzle I ordered from their Pixels shop! So naturally I decided to gather a display of all of the Buff art in my possession, including the cover of the bucktommy zine they sent me and the beautiful art they did inside, for two versions of this tableau 😍 also featured here are a mug from their redbubble, a Christmas ornament (also including a magnet on the back which I LOVE because now I can and will display it year round), and a beautiful drawing of Chimney.

Here’s a closeup of the finished puzzle which is SO absolutely gorgeous, and I’m totally going to have to make a separate post about it with some in progress pictures of putting it together but short version is I highly highly recommend getting puzzles of your fave fanart because you get to appreciate the detail so much more, AND recommend Buff’s shop in particular because their art is of course stunning, and the puzzle quality was exceptional.

And of course I need to include a closeup of the Chim they drew me. I loooove him and his beautiful smile!!!

Tommy heard the footsteps first, multiple sets, clambering up the ramp, and then Evan's voice.

"Oh this is even cooler than I thought, look at that wiring, it's genius—"

"Does this guy know what he's in for with you?" An unknown voice teased. "I don't think he's gonna give you private time with his ship, Buck, you might want to rein in your tech boner—"

Tommy cleared his throat, ducking his head out the door to wave at the two men coming down the hall.

"Gentlemen."

"Tommy!" Evan's face lit up as he fumbled with the box in his arms to give a dorky little wave.

Probie @buffaluff did a fantastic job scrubbing down the kitchen today!

Tommy has no idea how Buck makes those little keychains for the "I Need Mo' Joe" combos, but he's the only one here, and he tried his best! (It's a cup of coffee, a firetruck box of macarons and a Buck keychain made by Tommy!)

Buck takes the plant from Tommy, holding it carefully as he admires it. It looks tiny and fragile in his big hands and Buck feels the need to hold his breath as the delicate leaves tremble with the soft breeze of his exhale. It’s one of those novelty potted plants you would find near the checkout of a grocery store. The pot is shaped like a round little cartoon dog and Buck pictures Tommy spying it while waiting in line to buy his groceries and thinking of Buck. It makes Buck feel warmed through to his very core.  “A fat puppy made you think of me?” Buck says instead of blurting out something silly like I love you.

Running his hands over smooth skin and lace alike, Buck looks at himself in the bathroom mirror. There is just one more thing he needs. Rummaging under the bathroom sink, he pulls out his carefully stashed CVS bag. He feels giddy with excitement as he pulls out the tubes of lipgloss and mascara. Eddie didn’t manage to sniff out every surprise.  “One more minute,” Eddie’s voice echoes down the hall.  Buck’s heart skips a beat in his chest and the tube of lipgloss clatters into the sink. At this point he’s stalling, the vestiges of his insecurity still clinging to the back of his mind. Taking a deep breath, Buck does his best to shake the nerves from his fingers.
