WIP Good Genes & Thick Hides ref for Donnie!! There's a fun lil Summer Camp themed TMNT Fam Reunion thing going on and i'm speed running content for this AU so I can toss Don into the lake as your local summer camp cryptid!!!! Following the canonical end of the Turtle Sitting episodes, the brothers administer Stockman's cure to Don and quickly rush him home. The cure seems to be working but it's evident that despite Don's awareness returning, there are some changes that just aren't going to go away. New size, new shell, new scales, new tail, new instincts. Did their brother really ever come back at all? ~Cadoo 🐾 Some more fun lore bits under the cut~

Don does begin to shrink/lose some of the 2nd mutations' physical changes for a short time after the cure is administered

Eventually different changes start to take place, in some cases seemingly in reverse of the cure (ie: Don's tail & claws growing)

There is still confirmation that the 2nd mutation was breaking down Don's cells, LH is able to once again see that these additional changes are repairing some of that left over damage but he can't pinpoint why/what's causing this immune response without the mutagen still being present in Don's body.

Don gets to unlock fun new vocal cues and sounds! Talking verbally is hard but who needs it when you can snarl, chirp, growl, hiss, and purr! More to come eventually????

Had to be super dramatic with GGTH!Don's entrance into the @tmnt-fandom-family-reunion He's now the camp's own not so little cryptid sighting. Anyone is welcome to try and interact with him while he's running amok. Try to calm him down maybe????
