There is a library/ transfemme coffee shop trying to open in Montréal/Tiohtià:ke to provide a safe space for transfemme and 2sLGBTQIA+ community.

They will provide spaces for meetings, chilling, studying and I think to make arts and get politicized.

It would mean the world to me if you could give a dollar or two, and share the post!!

In 1992 Canada had pass a lifelong ban for Lgbtq2ia people.

In 2013 it was a five years ban after having had a relationship with a gay man.

In 2019 it was changed to a three months ban following a same sex relationship between man.

Currently the questions forms do not address the reality of trans or intersex people, or bi-spiritual people.

The Canadian Blood Services must publish a memoir and provide Health Canada with sufficient proofs that any changes to the ban would not create more risks.

Even then, it might take multiple months before being approved, if it is, and even longer for changes to be applied.
