"Do you forgive me for the things I have done, Castiel?" Asked Gadreel. A sorrowed expression etched into his face.
Castiel gripped the other angel's hand gently and smiled weakly.
"I'd be a hypocrite if I held distain for the things of your past. I too have made mistakes and I know I am still hated."
Gadreel let out a sigh as if it was one of relief. He stepped closer to Castiel, wanting to comfort him.
He was still new to human emotion but what he did know is he loved Castiel. Even during his imprisonment, he yearned for Castiel's visits. They would spend long hours talking about what they'd do together once he was freed.
Gadreel buried his head into Castiel's neck and gave him a gentle kiss. He was thankful to be freed even if it was under unpleasant circumstances.
Castiel wrapped his arms around Gadreel and then ran a hand through his hair tenderly.
They stood there in silence enjoying each other's company and caresses. Nothing else mattered in this moment but each other and their freed love.
