my heart breaks into a million pieces by just reading this. it is true that MC is not the same person she was. she wasnt the innocent girl Zoey met on her first day at hell (Belvoire). It's even more heartbreaking when she says she is falling for MC. I might be sombre all day long just thinking of this.

i believe the inspiration for this is when Janis and Damian pull up to the curb of Cady's house while everyone is having the time of their lives except for the both of them. Meanwhile, Cady is hot on her heels on the sidewalk, watches Aaron go. Janis argues about how Cady throws a party without inviting them and how Cady lies about where she will be. Cady talks about how she comes up with a brilliant plan to ruin Regina even more without telling her friends about it. At this point, everything has escalated to something more than just a petty revenge. This is Cady ruining Regina, whilst ruining herself and her relationship with Janis and Damian. Regina is her obsession. Janis tells her off, saying that she IS the plastic. Cady is not the same Cady from Africa.

A QUEER SPOTTED: EP. 1

WELCOME TO THE this new segment where I take perceived straight characters and tell you why they are queer as fuck.

In the spirit of October Third I thought I would start with the Queen of Plastic herself, Regina George, she is one hundred procent undoubtedly queer.

Starting with Regina and Janis their stories not lining up. Regina says it was because she couldn’t have a lesbian at the party, and Janis said it was that she got pushed out by the blond suddenly and without any explanation and then later heard the rumours.

Could it have been because of internalised homophobia and then just pushing them — Janis — away? It wouldn’t be the first time and definitely not the last time that thrope has been used/ it happens in the real life, sadly, it’s still something most of us have to overcome.

Taking it a step futher, a lot of lesbians feel uncomfortable using the word Lesbian or the D-word, and Regina seems to do aswell.

Is that undeniable proof that she is gay? No, but to counter her, Gretchen has no problem saying the word.

Still, can we have expected more from a 2004 Hollywood film? Probably not. One queer character is all we get, if even. And Damian is a fun lovebale character, whom I love to pieces even though he is a bit of a stereotype, but honestly I’m just suprised the early two thousands allowed any type of queer representation on screen.

Anyway, going back to Regina. She invites Cady over because she thinks she’s cute. In fact that’s why she picked Gretchen and Karen too.

Plus, it’s classic Heathers one-o-one to avoid being labelled as gay have straight sex. She had it with Aaron and the blond she cheated with Shane on him.

Just to clarify is not canon this is just me talking about characters that are not canonical queer but I still think are a little limp wristed.
