i don’t even know if these are unpopular takes anymore but i’m running out of opinions,,, i truly don’t think this much

connections and relationship development are not enough!!! it’s so much more fun and necessary to put your character through an actual narrative and story arc, where there are changes - whether it’s positive or negative

admins are exempt from activity rules - i’m a little surprised at some of the conflicting opinions on my dash about this. being so deeply involved in the overall plot and the big picture can seriously wipe your muse. i get wanting to see your admins be active to stay encouraged that the rp is still thriving, but there are more ways than just ic activity to accomplish that. ooc interactions for example or just overall accessibility

It’s raining in the Parisienne streets but this does not bother you. In the privacy of your own apartment, your feet are propped up against the golden ottoman. In one hand you have your phone, but the other grips onto the thin flute like glass bubbling in its rosé color. You take a swish of the champagne, it’s delicious and sweet in flavor. 

Your french nails tap scroll through playlists on your phone before stopping at a jazzy tune, tossing the device onto the milky sheets of your bed. The song echos in the night against the pitter patter of the falling rain. There is peace as there is tranquility within the comfort of your home. It is then that you pull the hairband out of her dark locks, shaking your head as it all tumbles downward. Your shoulders roll away from the tension and your skin feels fresh. You decided to enjoy the view, drink in hand - for it is in these little moments that you can relax.

my edgar allan poe tales and poems book. it’s something i enjoy re-reading at times.

if i remember correctly it was shut your eyes tight by john verdon, i was like 11 tho? i got really into mysteries at that age. my parents even wrote a note telling the librarian at my school that i could pick adult books, because they wouldn’t let me lol.
