Isn't byzantine literally just eastern Rome? I don't get waht Caesar is trying to say

Caesar's line is basically saying that while the Byzantine Empire/The Eastern Roman Empire is Roman, it's so culturally different from Caesar's Rome (you know, back in the BC times) that it can be seen as a completely different civilization, but he's amused that despite hundreds of years passing and multiple cultural shifts, people like Constantine were still considering themselves Roman Emperors.

His wording is a little bit underhanded. "Kawaii yatsu da" isn't exactly the politest way to refer to a peer, but it's moreso overly familiar and arrogant in a Caesar-style way than actively insulting.

Basically he's saying - "Byzantium is so different from Rome, but he still considers himself a Roman emperor. How cute."

Hell yes! Being inactive with your quartz is proving to have a positive effect on pull rate! Omg I wanted Sigurd so bad and I got him on the first pull just like Okita Alter. Now I just have to get Bryn and I’ll have another happy couple.

Seriously though, when are they going to have a valentines event feature servants that are actual history canon couples? I know I’m not the only person that wants to see some CleopatraxCeasar, SigurdxBrynhild and OzymandiasxNerfertari. Or some other history canon couple that I’m forgetting. This counts as fan service too.

i only just started playing FGO, my first ever step into the Fate series, i had no idea it was about "Real" Famous Figures becoming magical summons akfkfk anyway i had the delightful surprise of drawing Caesar and im love him but not far enough to know about his character portrayal here so pls great caesarblog tell me about The Boy......

Caesar, my favorite servant.

He's unlike most sabers and most Servents in that he would rather be a leader then a front-line fighter as he did when alive, but the one we all know and love is a saber and so he must fight.

That being said, his skills still give the impression of someone in charge with two skills being team wide buffs and a targetable skill.

His wish for the holy grail is surprising, to be reunited with Cleopatra and to be recognized as the father of caeesarion, most wishes on the holy grail are basic "to be alive" or "Rule over bluhbluhbluh again" but caesar truly loves Cleopatra and caeesarion.

And lastly with the master, although being annoyed at being summoned as a saber, Caesar respects master, if in a roundabout way. He would never betray them although will have sharp remarks he means them in good intent.

So yeah thats caesar, best saber, best roman, and best Servent.
