Even though the crazy scientist had just tried to kill them all with a massive and deadly weapon, it wasn't his style to let anyone go hungry or thirsty. There was no edict stating that he had to be a royal asshole to people who were already condemned to being view as evil. "Here–I brought you a snack and tea." he spoke in lower tones to Caesar.

headcanon Morality

Morality

Kazu's Morals are mostly wrong, it's what makes him a pirate, but he cannot stand by and watch those who cannot protect themselves be hurt, he cant do it, he has to help, he feels morally obligated to help if the victim cannot help themselves.

The avid protests of his crew still echoed through the Heart captain's mind, arguments against his reckless acts and tendency to fight alone caused a sudden, small exhale of breath to escape the surgeon's throat in an exasperated sigh. 

There was no point in dwelling on such matters when his plans were coming along perfectly, his arrival at Punk Hazard, the deals made with the vaguely insufferable scientist... he had executed the first phase of his vengeance-rooted goal, the very ambition he currently lived for, no, survived for, would come to fruition in the near future.. so why such memories clouded his forward momentum, the Surgeon of Death couldn't fathom, nor did he wish to dwell on the lingering phantoms for much longer. 

Rising to his feet, the lanky young doctor reached upwards, a few digits delicately removing his signature leopard-print cap while free fingers restlessly slid through his messy blue-black locks. This gesture proved to clear his mind enough to allow the Supernova to cross the room and approach the gigantic figure of the very man who was supposed to cause all his intricate plans to come together.

In lieu of becoming lost in his own labyrinth of thoughts, the fallow-skinned pirate opted instead to shift gears by attempting to cause distress to somebody else. A childish method, but one he wasn't currently above, being too frustrated by other things to care about his propriety. 

The gaseous Logia user, the esteemed 'Caesar Clown', was the perfect type of individual to manipulate at the same time he was highly amusing to mess with. While Law did have respect for the scientist, who was indeed a genius in his own right, the surgeon would never tell him of this fact.

"Caesar-ya, that 'coffee' that was sitting on the table before.. you didn't happen to drink it, did you?"

His deep tones were completely apathetic, a flat sort of voice that denoted a lack of empathy, though there was little hiding the slight smirk that tugged at the ends of the Heart captain's lips.
