I actually tried this during "Orpheus"' birthday because I had a feeling he would eat this based on his food preferences (he enjoys sweets and foods with a complex texture).
And I believe this tiramisu meets the criteria.
I was in my hometown for a bit during this time and decided to try out a fine dining restaurant called "Amarillo." Disclaimer, the photo is yet again not mine. I got it from Cece because they took a more appealing photo and bothered to colour grade.
Anyway, from what I recall trying the tiramisu, it's a very soft, creamy, and light dessert. It easily melts in your mouth. The ladyfingers are light and have a bit of body to it but almost immediately disintegrates when consumed. The espresso is not too overpowering either. Overall, a mild and pleasant dessert. Additionally, the dessert itself is very different compared to other restaurants that offer tiramisu. My guess is they actually used egg whites and mascarpone. I did not a very subtle but easily missed egg taste (the chocolate dismisses it anyway).
According to Cece, the tiramisu is made in house. Pretty much, the tiramisu itself is made in the restaurant. Which adds more to its uniqueness.
The gold leaf and cherry didn't add much to the dessert overall. It's mostly to be more pleasing to the eye or to add contrast to the overall colour harmony. Which works I suppose, imagining the tiramisu without its accents makes it appear more simple and not as eye catching.
The dessert costs around Php225 (~USD5) not including the service fee when dining in. Speaking of which, you have to dine in to have a taste of their dishes as they do not offer food deliveries.
