Calm mornings, chai lattes and the rejection of voices from that dark realm—their arguments and lies will not contaminate my documentations. These battles are constant and we are equipped to win each one so long as we do not normalize their presence or create space for their toxic suggestions. (Btw, this is my favourite cafe in Harlem.)
