Anton Hansen (June 27, 1891 - 1960) was a well-known provider of political satire and caricatures in several Danish newspapers from 1909 onward. He also painted more traditional artworks, but also with a left-wing point of view of solidarity for the underdog.

Martin Emond (Oct. 21, 1895 - 1965) was a Swedish Expressionist painter, who was trained at the Academy in Stockholm after which he spent much of the 1920s traveling in Germany and Austria taking his cue from artists like Kokoschka.

Emond was part of the artists’ group "Nio Unga" and the Färg och Form exhibition collective. His work is in all major Swedish museums.
