What I Ate Today: September 11, 2012

I'M BAAAAAAACK

exciting, right? There isn't much that happened since I last posted, except I am now living in Minnesota and going to cawledge. Also, I ate this really cool chicken from a bag on a hiking trip.  it was kind of like this, but more exciting. 

Anywhoo, I have FRIENDS! I'm really handicapped at computers, so I will upload a photo after I finish this post, since I can't figure out how to directly put one in here.

So, BY FAR one of the best things about college lyfe is the food! I get three all you can eat meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinneratfive. Cafe Mac has mad food options (grill, wok, pizza (ALWAYS AMAZING), mexican (not PC or actually correct at all, but I don't know the real name), salad bar, pasta, and then tons of other stuff in between). I usually go for a serving from each station. Today was no different......

BREAKFAST

Emily and I had a hot breakfast date this morning. On a scale from mild to picante, it was def at least a medium. 

okay..BREAKFAST:

WHITE BREAD toast (AHHHH) with whipped butter (AHHHHHHHH) and eggs on top. this is what I have every morning unless Cafe Mac ('The Seam') is out of white bread, whipped butter, or the whipped butter is hard. Also sometimes the b!tch3s at the grill give me little to no eggs. My roommate Maren has a theory that they only give fat people lots of eggs. 

Also lots of apple juice and tea

LUNCH:

Apple juice

Caffeine 

Spaetzle 

Chicken

This 'burnt' broccoli stuff that was really good when dipped in,....

GRAVY!!!! 

also,

dunking white bread with whipped butter into curried carrot soup=sarah and my new fave

It should be stated that dinner is promptly at five every night.

DINNER:

Same thing I had for lunch

Two cupcakes that I got from this guy who is running for student rep. the cupcakes were funfetti and the guy had a lip piercing. A quote on lip piercings: "I think every girl would look better with a lip piercing" -Shub

Tomorrow is BACON CHICKEN PIZZA WITH RANCH. holla at Joshua Michael Weiner Rosenberg because ranch is his jam! also because I just included his name in this post means there will be a hit for him on google now AWWWYEAH

closing statement: the number of times I google "cafe mac menu" on a daily basis is astounding.
