AOD: Cafe metro sign

For my upcoming article in the Tomb Raider Art Encyclopendia: Cafe metro, I was looking outside of the cafe and comparing things.

Parisian Ghetto level screen. 

Notice that for the bike is a promotional board that should say: “Cafe Metro Ouvert”.. well in Parisian Ghetto it says that. There is a missing plate of the street sign.

The lantern should be the place where the sign stayed in the beta.

In the red square stands the “ Ouvert  Cafe Metro” sign. It is not textured in this view on the other side it is red. 

Notice also the missing tree, the texture of the door and the texture of the shutters (if that is the right name)..

The red square again should have had the “ Ouvert Cafe Alphonse”

By the way do we know why Cafe Metro was once Cafe Alphonse? (or otherwise).

TRAOD: Cafe metro easter egg

I found an easter egg in Café metro

Lets focus on the poster with the man and the dog in the middle. 

Let’s zoom in.. 

Notice that on top of the poster, the name “Duggan” is written. 

If I compare it with the original poster it should be written: “E&A Mele Abiti per Uomo”

Yes! Fergus “Fergy” Duggan we meet again! 

He is also known for:

He has is own animation, a smashing cabinet in the Galleries under siege.

I noticed before that the war picture can be smashed but now I discovered more pictures can be destroyed. It is just jump and shoot..

Hi, I want to ask you something. I want to post the music in pierre's Cafe Mero. It's background music and I love it but it has the authentic cafe fibe... I have the wave file converted to mp3, filling things in. But I must agree that it is my own work. And there is one problem.. it is not my own work... It is work of Martin Iverson and Peter Cornelly. I see Tombraidermusic publish a lot of music from Tomb Raider. So I guess it's legal to do?? Thanx for your answer. #artofaod

I get it’s fine as long as you properly credit the composers. Nathan McCree wasn’t very happy about tombraidermusic posting his tracks but I guess it was mostly because he sometimes posts wrong titles for the tracks. Anyway, TR music has been posted to death not only here in Tumblr but also on YouTube so… while technically you don’t have the author’s permission, I guess nothing happens if you credit them. You can also ask Peter for permission, too. Or check if he has that track on his sound cloud.
