Charlotte wouldn't handle Amelia's death at all. In fact, she'd probably end up turning to the Dark Arts to find a way, ANY WAY to bring her back. Even if she had to give up her life for Amelia's, the cost would be worth it.

When Amelia first met Harry, what did she think of him?

SEND ME QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT MY CHARACTER!

Surprisingly, when Amelia first met Harry it wasn’t a negative one. It wasn’t an overly joyful meeting, but it was just pleasant. They were both civil though it was quite clear it was a little bit awkward between them at first given they were both strangers and had only just met one another. When Amelia and Harry first met, neither one of them knew they were related, let alone that they were twins. With this fact not yet brought up - especially to Amelia - it allowed her to meet Harry in a less complicated manner. 

In all honesty, Amelia didn’t know what to think of Harry at first, even before she found out he was her twin. She could tell he was frustrated, on edge, though was trying to be polite. She didn’t know why she got the feeling of frustrated and on edge from him but sorta got the picture from his meltdown at Ron and Hermione (which she heard from another room, or parts of it at least). She initially did pick up some striking resemblance between herself and Harry (eg: their eyes, the shape of their nose slightly, the hair) but brushed it off almost immediately, thinking it to be nothing and just a coincidence. 

Amelia and Harry hadn’t really met for long before they were told about being twins so it wasn’t much time for Amelia to grab a full perception of him. She only knew what she saw those past few days and the most she got was that he was frustrated, clearly on edge, not liking being kept in the dark about certain things, but overall wasn’t a bad person. She probably would have gotten to know more of him sooner if it hadn’t been for the shock of the news causing her to completely turn a cold shoulder to Harry and basically avoid him at all cost. 

This kinda makes me sad to be honest because they did get on well initially. Like, I said it was awkward at first but there was no hostile or tension coming from either of them (Amelia especially). It was just the news of discovering she had a twin she never knew about that was the last straw for Amelia after losing her entire (adoptive) family a few weeks prior only to then discover they weren’t even her family biologically. In some ways the stress of it all did cause Amelia to ‘snap’ but after a rather stressful year she did make amends with her relation with Harry.
