Lampítaw anchor groupfie
Riding a lampítaw from the Luzon mainland Municipality of Aparri on the 72.4 kilometer boat ride to the island of Camiguin in the Babuyan Islands, Cagayan Province.
The lampítaw is larger motorized outrigger boat that can span the length of 6 meters (20 feet) to 9 meters (30 feet).
This picture was taken circa 1993, when I was part of a medical mission with my fraternity brothers to the Babuyan Islands, under the office of then Congressman Edgar Lara (born 1948).
