I’m feeling oddly nostalgic for my first J-drama -- Long Vacation. I used to watch it on Saturday evenings, right after the Japanese variety shows on our local foreign-language TV station.

Yes, that’s right. I was watching Asian dramas a long time before they got popular.

Anyhow, Long Vacation was one of my favorites, most notably for its soundtrack. I had the box set a long time ago but I lost it awhile back.
