Game nights were always interesting, to say the least. He and the runt get along as good as they’re able these days. It’s tense, but it’s enough that not only does Logan stop by for cards, he decides to bring a damn plus one. A human, at that. Vic’s grumbled on and off about it through the game, but he has to admit her humor fits the game. 

During a quick break, she gets up to get something from the kitchen. A few seconds later, he follows to get himself a beer from the fridge. He can’t even remember the comment he made - some off-color remark about her and the runt - because she immediately retaliates. It doesn’t matter that it’s his damn game, she doesn’t let him get away with saying that kind of shit to her. The nearest thing is grabbed and hurled at him with surprising force and accuracy. Not enough to hurt, but more than enough to startle him into silence as the loaf of bread hits him square in the face.

"Riiiight..." Danny drawled, the embarrassed flush fading away as he picked himself up off the ground. "You sure it wasn't just payback because I won again?"
