I literally have divided myself into six pieces of shit which I have named individually like the fucking Sanders Sides, which has led me to name it “claire and her conscience”

-tradfem/femme-gloss me (handles all the girly gossip and shit) : Katie. Wears pink “I SPAWNED IN BECAUSE I HEARD THIS PLACE EXISTED” shirt. Often wears scrunchies. Likes plushies. Loves McBling and Cutecore. My kindness and compassion.

-Language learning me/homework me. (Handles all the academic stuff) : Maria. Wears house clothes because she doesn’t give an absolute flip. Enjoys watching movies every now and then.

-Sarcastic/rivalry making me (handles all stuff like that) : Johanna. Named (in a reference to) after John Bender from the Breakfast Club, tends to wear Hot Topic a lot. Curses frequently. Listens to Radiohead, heavy metal, 90’s hip-hop, and Nirvana. My snark and urge to punch people.

-Creativity/music making/energetic/emotional me (handles all aforementioned) : Mickey. Wears hot topic clothes too, has way too many bracelets on, IS the love for musicals and stuff I love. She shares all the music taste of every side I have, since she IS creativity. Drama queen. Handles role-plays.. and cries. A lot.

-Morality and religious me : Jenna. Tends to be one of the most mature. Believes firmly that without evil to define what is good, there is no good anyway, and that despite the fact Eve ate the apple and brought sin into this world, without sin, we would have NOTHING because we wouldn’t need it, since we would already have paradise in Eden. Practically rant mode. If you ask her about her views on life you get a whole fucking essay times four. Would literally start praying the St. Benedict’s Medal Prayer if you mention ghost hunting around her.

-Sports cheer and shit me : Elyssa. Wears sports jerseys all the time. (I highly doubt she changes them even weekly) She has all the bracelets on too. She tends to be a little too passionate over women’s basketball. Would absolutely fucking maul you to death with a club and her bare hands if you hated Caitlin Clark in cold blood with no hesitation. Like a sports mom.

- from the Wired / Youth 7″ (1992, 3rd Degree Records)

This is a really cool/interesting record. Total Quickness-era Bad Brains worship (I presume they got their name from the Bad Brains song on I Against I) with Katon, of legendary thrash metal band Hirax, on vocals. The rest of the band was made up of members of California melodic hardcore outfit Amenity, who are also really good.

Musically this is very similar to bands like Living Colour, and the aforementioned Bad Brains. Groovy, hard-hitting, rock-tinged funk metal/hardcore.

Outside of this two track single, the only other thing they put out is a self-titled EP in ‘91. They broke up in 1992, with Katon re-joining Hirax in 2000.

OG Cali-moshcore with future members of Terror, First Blood, and Set Your Goals, oddly enough. 

Crushingly heavy stuff, reminiscent of First Blood’s earlier stuff.
