I watched episode 8 earlier and I have NEVER related SO MUCH to a character like Caine.
From how I saw it. He was trying his best to give everyone what they wanted.
He wanted to be liked by the humans in the circus. And then he starts believing that no one likes him or the adventures he makes for the humans (in which they don’t really).
And no one enjoys being around him because of his flaws, one of which being that he only cares about his adventures. And we see this throughout the episodes.
I relate to this because I never felt liked because I would always want to talk about the stuff I was interested in and not ever be aware about the fact that I needed to consider the other person. I also have felt like my personality was too much for people (I’m going by what I remember).
I also have had my fair share of feeling hated by people because of things that are harder for me to control.
I’ve been told that certain sides of me are scary and it’s really hurt because it’s really hard for me to control those sides of myself.
Yes it’s the truth and the truth is good to hear, but it’s always been said when people seem frustrated at me which isn’t a good time to point out someone’s flaws (which is exactly how the cast pointed out Caine’s flaws).
Ok, enough of the semi-depressing shit, here’s a drawing of Caine I made! :D
