She flinched as she was called, the sheer volume of his voice enough to make her turn around quickly towards him.
It only made her freeze in place however, his face way too close for comfort. Star took a moment to answer, blinking, only to awkwardly smile and half-mumble a response out.
* Um, well...I'm...doing okay...I think?...
Doing okay was a hard thing to do here and in their situation, but she still tried to not think about things too hard, or else she would probably abstract.
* I...don't think I have any concerns though...but. Thank you for asking.
Not yet at least. She was still a little too jumbled up to know what she wanted or not. Still, she made an effort to smile up at him, to try and avoid possibly worrying him.
