If you messed up today...
It’s okay.
Everyone in the world messes up, and no matter what that voice in your head is saying, you haven’t messed up worse than anyone else in history.
It’s okay.
Just keep moving.
Keep going.
Hang in there.

I've realized that my handwriting is... Not nearly as nice as I thought it was? So now I'm super nervous about posting notes on here. Tomorrow, though. Tomorrow, I'll do it.
I love the way other people can just... Impact the way you see the world. Not just in big ways, either.
My best friend loves anything and everything to do with outer space. Now, whenever I see shirts or memes or photographs or anything of outer space, it makes me happy because I know she'd love it.
An internet friend has a sunflower for an icon, and loves to garden. I've never been much of a plant/garden person, but now, whenever I see anything related to gardening, it makes me excited, and whenever I see sunflowers, I think about her.
A crush I had for years plays jazz music. As a rule, I'm not a huge fan of music without lyrics, but listening to him play just made it come to life for me, and whenever I hear jazz music, I smile.
A woman who is almost like a second mother to me loves high heels. Now, I never wear them, and shoe shopping with me in general is like pulling teeth. But whenever I see bright, sparkly high heels, all I can think about is how much she'd love them.
My grandmother on my dad's side passed away before I was born, but she loved owls. Because I've heard my family talk so much about this, whenever I see owls, I think of her.
I have one internet friend I rarely talk to, but whenever I see cute animal images, I always tag her. (And she does the same for me.)
The list goes on.
So if you ever think that you don't matter, that you don't make a difference to people, please know that's not true. You're leaving your own little footprints in the world, and you don't even realize it.
Never doubt it.
If you're struggling with a specific sin....
Recognize what triggers it. Are you more likely to give into that sin when you're tired? Hungry? Stressed?
The most important thing is to pray about that sin, and ask God to take it away, but recognizing those triggers can be helpful.
For me, I know that I'm more likely to read smut if I'm extremely tired, or if I've had too much sugar during the day. (The second one surprised me, honestly.) So if I'm tired, I can make a conscious effort to not take my tablet with me if I'm going to be in an isolated room, or not get on fansites. Just KNOWING what flips that switch in your brain can be helpful.
