He's not emotionless by a long shot. Yeah, he's a shit, but that's different. Instead of actively express his emotions, he takes measures to bottle up EVERYTHING, positive, negative, or otherwise. It's not that he's emotionless, he just wants everyone to think he is.
"I knew I should not have trusted you. You’re fucking useless, after all." A lone boy murmured as he’d wrapped fingers around the tiny, bloody hand that he had pulled into his lap. It was cold. "Never were good for anything, save for getting in my way." He stared down at the tiny figure, expression pensive, though clear amounts of restraint had been taken to steady the tremble of his voice and lips. He’d given her hand a tiny squeeze, moving to pull the rest of her close as well.
He’d ignored the blood on her body, the glassy look that had clouded her once opened eyes, the fact that the last noise he’ heard from her was a pathetic little ‘thank you for everything’. All that he cared about was that she was there with him. All that mattered was that she was in his arms…and safe. All..all that mattered—
The boy’s face crumpled as a feeling he’d not felt in a long while washed over him. It was confusing. Terrifying, but familiar. The feeling of a loss of something important having hit him like a wave of water, and he was left drowning amidst it.
For the first time since he’d met the little faunus, it was his turn to cry for her.
F: Melody. What? She may hate me but she's hot and I guarantee we could break some furniture
M: Poe: She is probably the best member of my team personality wise. I could see us working things out there.
K: Jeong: His swimmer's ass and abs are colossally offset by his bitter personality so no on the fuck front and the only way I would marry him was if we had one of those old timey marriages where the couple never sees each other.
Taking pride in being ignorant, I guess is the best way I can phrase that. You know the types. The "I don't need to read books because reading is dumb" type. Or the "Who cares about particle physics. Look at my bulging muscles" type. Just generally being a meathead.
Today was the worst...as usual. She was sure she had a fever, her lunch hadn't gone down too well, and what was more, she'd tripped and spilled what was left of it all over Sharada in her distraction.
But a small pot of watercress plant left on the sill of a cracked window with a small note of 'I heard this was healthy for you.' in a familiar scrawl made it that much better.
