Delicious and visually stunning blue and white cake pops with a marbled cake interior, coated in a smooth candy shell. Perfect for parties and sweet celebrations.
Ingredients: 1 box of blue velvet cake mix. 1 box of white cake mix. 4 large eggs. 1 cup vegetable oil. 1 cup water. 1 cup white chocolate chips. 1 cup blue candy melts. 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened. 1/2 cup powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Lollipop sticks. Blue and white sprinkles.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. Prepare the blue velvet cake mix and white cake mix according to package instructions in separate bowls. In a large mixing bowl, combine the blue velvet cake batter and white cake batter, creating a marbled effect. Do not overmix. Pour the marbled batter into a greased and floured cake pop mold. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow the cake pops to cool completely. In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Crumble the cooled cake pops into fine crumbs and add the cream cheese mixture. Mix until well combined. Roll the mixture into small cake balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Melt white chocolate chips and blue candy melts in separate bowls according to package instructions. Dip the lollipop sticks into the melted white chocolate and insert them into the cake balls. Let them set. Dip each cake pop into the melted blue candy melts, ensuring even coverage. Allow excess to drip off. Before the candy coating sets, sprinkle blue and white sprinkles over the cake pops for decoration. Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block to allow them to fully set. Once set, they are ready to be enjoyed!
